A quick pic of my bro's SKS not sure what year it is yet still need to do a little more research on it ... :wink: ...it has some chinese lettering on one side ... i'll try & post closer pic's to show what those look like soon.

looks nice , is the stock cut for the blade or the spike bayo ?

The stock is cut for a blade bayo... it didin't have one w/ it when he got it at an auction... but i would be interested in getting one for him if i could... :?: His b-day is coming up & he would get a hell of a kick out getting it fixed up. :bigrin: if anyone has one that they would be willing to part with.... :-( i would give it a nice new home.... :lol

all i have is a spike and im not certain it would be chinese , but i think thats a great idea ill let you know if i see one ,

every one of my rifles that has a bayonet boss has at least one blade/spike to wear , i collect , my kids may need to defend , and many of my rifles have multiple pointy bits

To me a rifle is not complete until it has a cleaning rod, sling, bayonet & scabbard, frog, and ammo. Only my No. 4 Mk1* Enfield has two bayonets, and that's because I couldn't decide between a blade and a spike.

I fully agree.... she seems a bit naked without all of her accessories... :-o ... I'm working on getting her fixed up for my brother's B-day but like always other things seem to come up & i have to put my plans on hold..... a sling & bayo would dress her up nicely though..... ;) & WELCOME to the forum Geladen.... the more the merrier... :bigrin:
