This Marlin m-57 22 mag is also known as a 1/2 cock. You can see the short stroke on lever and full open bolt. This is another 1 in the pile that is in on hawk for 3 years now. They were his dads guns and i gave him no time limit. I also said i would not try to clean this 1 gun and leave it as it was.It shoots sweet with that 1/2 cock lever.Ill have to find the year, but i guess 57 ?? There was a nice copy of this gun made by someone.J C Higgins or Hi standard .If you know remind me who it was.
I think my hard drive is full cos I'm forgetting ever thing lately.
All ya the revolver is in for a cleaning. SEE!!!!

If you ever get one of these clear apart, you will have all the fun you want getting it back together! Sweet guns, though. I have a levermatic in 256 & it's a pasture poodle shooter!

Cheep to load for, too. SW

Interesting. I've never seen one of those before. What is the revolver? Kind of looks like a Hi-Standard?
