Since I whacked my 2 turkeys right away, I had plenty of time to play around with the camera.
Quill pig sign. It's not easy to see, but there are shiny branches in the Russian olive tree which is in front od the colorful cottonwood. Saw a lot of sign but no porcupines.

I sat under a tree & this cow wandered right up to me like it wanted to mooch my cookies. Ol' #56. I call her "Blackie".
She hung around & grazed which is good - cattle make great confidence deeks. Heck, she was so tame, I think she would have made a good seeing eye cow!

There are turkeys up the wazoo around here. I got on the brakes so one of these boneheads wouldn't bust my plastic grille. They are everywhere! I can get another permit & 2 more turks, but I'm holding off until Nov or Dec. SW
