I found these while sorting negatives today. I finally got off my butt & ordered a Canon9000 negative scanner & it's on the way. In the meantime...
A gaggle of bighorns. I took this in the buttes like 9 miles from my driveway & I live in town. You get outside the city limits, it gets real rural real quick.

"A fine young buck" I was on a road near Laramie Peak, Wyo during deer season. I wasn't hunting. Down the mountain at a high rate of speed come 3 out of state hunters in a new pickup. Rifles hanging out the window - refreshment cans bouncing out the back - raising quite a cloud of dust. They went zooming past me & about a quarter mile later, this buck stood up - did a long stretch - took a long whiz - and calmly melted into the forest.

Another failed farmer. This is several miles south of Lost Springs, Wyo. Among the scattered few remains of the old farm is this rusting pickup skeleton. With the caged back end I imagined it was for hauling chickens - maybe sheeps. Hard to say now. Out on a flat table & NO trees to break the wind. Didn't see signs of there having been row crops. The prominence in the distance is Laramie Peak - nearly a hundred mile drive away. Maybe 60 miles as the crow flies.

Preppy daughter the younger when she was a little geezer. I was watching her one day & asked if she'd pose with her stuffed toy wabbit. She agreed but quickly got bored. She's not in trouble - just bored. So I took a couple quick pics & out the door she ran to play with her pals. SW
