Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Location: On the couch a lot now that I'm retired

Not that much snow here but cold. +7 with a 30mph wind = too darn miserable to have much of a hike. So Dogbreath quickly did her biz & back to town we sped to be cereal killers.

Consider the cereal killed. 8-)

Since it's so nasty, this will be a good day to just goof off. I dumped out a big pile of birdseed & they instantly spotted it. I like to see them load up. The squills will be along in a bit & they will squabble with the birds all day.

Now that the Christmas tree is gone, il Mutt has a nice, warm sun spot on the couch again. She's thinking... "Did my biz... check. Killed some cereal... check. Lay around all day & maybe mooch food later on... check."

Works for me, too! :bigrin:

.....this was LAST weekend with the grandaughter out back here...

....wifey actually broke out her X/country skis she hadnt used in over 20 years-but couldnt find her poles...so I hadda grab an ol' 2x4 and do some bubba woodwork so she could at least move... :rotflma:

...today was 60+ degrees,all snow had since melted...and while takin down the Xmas lights in a T-shirt and shorts,I got buzzed by a bee and saw a couple flies-honest to God truth... :-o

....boy are they in for a rude suprise as the forcast sez back into the freezer Monday-tonite cold front rollin in causing enuf rain to prompt flood warnings :roll:

...and its already started and I hear the wind thumping the house as I type... :-?

What a difference from here. All week it has been 80 degrees, maybe 65 at night. So far all winter, we have not had a day below 55, nor a night below 45. Unusually warm, was shooting yesterday on my acreage with a friend, and we were actually trying to stay out of the sun.

For the last two days we had new record highs and around an 1 1/2" of rain. My back yard is almost like a lake. Supposed to drop to the low 20s tonight.

last three days here started at -4 and although we are expected to hit mid30s on wed , the long range forecast is for prolonged sub-zero next week
