Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

but I did get my RR channel done(hope it's level)....and the barrel tenons placed and the the barrel channel holed out for them.....maybe today i will work on getting the lock fully inletted and the thrigger group placed.......

look at all that wood beside the barrel.....that will be cut down to 3/16", and then 1/8"!!!!!! :ow:
a flinter is just a barrel with a wrap of wood around it sometimes...this piece will be a 'transition' piece, between 1790-1820 type......thin as Paris' ankles!

update:
This rifle now resides in a fellows home in VA~ he wants to shoot a buck, then hang over the fireplace~

i'm now working a southern MTn rifle in walnut.....
