....pretty hot...  ...made it home from the Eclipse road trip...it was beyond description but I will 'splain later...got many great shots that I need time to properly process,but heres one quickie for now. :)

Neat pic!! We drove a little way south of town on a dirt road (no Colorado people) to watch it. Pretty amazing to see it get so dark and stars become visible. On the way back to town, it was a mass exodus southbound. Must have been a slow day in Denver. SW |

We tried but 15 min. before it was due to start the clouds rolled in and spent the rest of the day. We got to see it get dark but not what was happing  maybe next time around.

That's pretty cool! Last total solar eclipse we got here was in '79, and it lasted a shade over 4 minutes. I'll be fertilizing the daisies long before I see another.... Have found very little on the latest TOTAL Lunar eclipse off the super moon a week previous to all the excitement of the total Solar eclipse. Would have missed it if it wasn't mentioned on the local news at the tail end of a story on the Perseides meteor shower... That red moon disappeared awfully quick! Regards, Doc Sharptail |
