The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

It took the first rain (which was way late) of spring to get these guys to open up...

Crocus. These usually open up while there's still snow on the ground. Not a chance this year for that- very little snow. We didn't get rain until 3rd week of May. They are the tough guys of the flower world, and will poke through the first 2 or 3 snowfalls of the year for that last bit of warmth...

Thought this was an aster, or a daisy at first. Nothing doing! That's a wild white rose, which is a bit of a first find for me. Unmistakable for the lower thorns...

No idea what these are called - stumbled into several acres of them so I filled a coffee cup & brought some home. A DIY peace & domestic tranquility kit! :bigrin:

Looks like early morning glories from here- but I could be as wrong as heck on this. I ain't no botanist, that's for sure.
