Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Some people apparently have a lot of time on their hands....

This is quite a ways off the beaten path. It is newly made, and was not there last fall.
Ton of hard labour and logistics there. I can't for the life of me fugure out why...

Could well be something like that.

The more I add it up, the less sense it makes.
They got their water for mortar from the river- about 60 yds away, down a 200 foot 88 degree incline. From what I can see, they hauled water by hand. There's quite a path down that slope. I don't know of a portable pump that will work on a + 200 foot head. That must have been quite a trick getting water up that incline. I would not attempt it- even with climbing gear...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail
