If I read the web stuff correctly maybe a Zorky 3 or early 4.
Gonna look around some more.
Some of those Russian lenses were actually quite good quality optics.

There was a medium format Russian camera - Zenith, I *think*. A fellow I knew got one from a shutterbug ad for the low price.

My closest friend did a long distance resolution test with ASA 120 film, and it wasn't that good. SW

Did some brief work with a Zenit TTL 35mm SLR. The 90mm and 135mm lenses that were with it were the equal of mid priced Japan glass at the time eg; Vivitar series 1...
I have a series 1 70-210mm that is sharper than comparable nikkor. The Zenit lenses were a bit on the contrasty side, but otherwise able performers.

Time to dig some out. First staying snow has started here tonight.

i dont know - i think she is a fox ............just sayin

D-800 is a very able, top of the line, professional DSLR with a full frame sensor.
I think for me to get one would cost more than what my current car is worth.

Super telephoto's with white bodies are usually Canon.
Looks like one Nikkor at full right, 3rd from bottom.
The N/D filter panel is un-mistakeable.
I'm guessing it's a 1200mm. Bit of a job hand-holding those.
Camera's are probably all DSLR's.
You wouldn't hand hold a lens like that with film...

That one has a Cullman adapter plate already on the bottom.

Hopefully this guy's just fooling around.

In all honesty, I'm not very fair to my telephotos. I don't use a tripod when I should, and then wonder why the images are blurred. This is becoming a hard lesson for me to learn.
One of my photo books states that 135mm is the upper limit for hand held exposures.
Not sure I want to lug the 097 Manfrotto around. That is a big and heavy tripod. More to think on this yet, and get an attitude adjustment somewhere along the line too...

Hand hold exposure with this!





It does have a dark slide.

I can't imagine processing a negative that big.
From what I'm seeing here, it could be multiple frame~ probably 4 or 6
8" X 10" sheet films.
Could be one big glass negative too, but again, the processing would get interesting to say the least...

By the clean look of the dark slide and other elements in the photo, this is fairly recent- maybe even photo-shopped.

No hood for composition, either. But maybe he's an experienced pro and doesn't need one. Might need an assistant just to mix chemicals, though. SW

Lifted this off this a.m.'s f/b feed. I think that's a canon eos-650.
Photo speaks volumes of what it takes to get an image at times...

I kind of doubt it's real. The page I lifted it from had more than a few mutterings about photoshopping...

Probably entirely possible though, with the continuing trend in minaturizing micro processors...

There's a couple of give aways on this photo.
Strap lug on camera body left, and the lens release button.
Zoom control lever around shutter release button...
Camera has been definitely scaled down in post processing.
Lens is the standard 18-55 mm D/X nikkor.

Biggest and most glaring evidence of photo tampering is the "570" on the camera body.
Definitely added in post.

Nothing on a camera this size on the nikon site...
