Decent score! Sekonic was one of the better makes. If it's in working condition, it is likely very accurate. Looks like it's set up for an incident light dome- which rarely gets used. Reflected light readings are very good. With a little practice, one can average for highlights and shadows. There's a bit of info on these available on-line... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Look at you, being all artsy and stuff. In the interest of staying on-topic. I think I'm supposed to ask about equipment. |

2 pics, same group, different area, during the march to Appomattox following Lee's Retreat on the 150th, there is a Minefielder in this picture (not me, I took it) they are the 45th VA, and are rather steadfast in authenticity, as in everything they have is period correct or made from period correct type stuff, in a period correct way, no Farbs here taken with the Nikon and the normal or kit lense (55mm iirc) and playing with the camera software to get the B&W and Sepia tones the Sepia one is in the field next to the McLean house (it is maybe 200 yrds to my, the picture takers, right)

another play with the camera software pic Yankee Reenactor at the 150th, near the McLean house looking at his expression, I don't think he appreciated me getting a picture, the look, to me, is typical for a Yankee in the South, not saying that to offend anyone now,

Camera in fore-ground of first pic with the misaligned lens hood is a Nikon- probably a D-700 which ain't a bad camera. Could be from the d/x-apsc series too, but I sort of doubt it with glass like that. Whichever it is, it wears a battery grip. Looks like Tamron markings on the side of the lens near the mount. It's got a nice filter door on it too. Regards, Doc Sharptail |

I have seen a later version of this, from the mid-20's IIRC. Looks like a mannequin on top of the giant camera. Regards, Doc Sharptail |

You've piqued my curiosity, sir. Enough to run a reverse image search which tells us... "Mario De Biasi photograph of French actress Brigitte Bardot during Venice Film Festival. Venice, Italy, 1958." |
