When I saw the pic you have of the 9th Uboat flotilla emblem, I had to share a pic of a Type VII uboat that I built over 20 years ago. Its radio controlled and dives dynamically. It hasn't been in the water for about 10 years now, and some of the smaller details have suffered from curious 2 yearold fingers! I put my broomhandle next to it to provide scale, and k

i like it too , but based on the scale of the thing ive got no place to put it ,

BTW what are the things sticking out of the wall behind at a bit over eye level ? and why is that one bent ?

boy howdie , that would be costly loss , and as a hobby - im thinking economy of small country here

rebar huh ? yes they were to be cut off after the catseyes were removed , but based on where they are located it was the contractors solution to that last level of whalers , he didnt want to spend the cash to brace the top of the wall correctly --its OK , you have a great wall , a poured wall is far superior[in my humble oppinion] to the alternatives - masonry and ?wood? -remember the wood foundations that were pushed for a while ? while not a bad solution in most areas , when installed in ground water i dont care how much cyanide you satrurate it with , its gonna rot ,
if those were sticking out at the outside id say cut chip and caulk - we dont want that rusting inside the wall , but since its on the inside , i like them as gun hangers , they were esentialy thru wall ties holding the forms true , so they are not structural , but they are handy

wow , serious about the fun huh ? and i gotta ask - were these as expensive as they sound ?

Probably, although a lot of folks would engineer their own guns & pumps.
If you were handy the major expense would be in the remote(S) & servo's. Had to be good at waterproofing the electrics though

wow , i missed the rest of this thread , i had no idea folks did this for real ,

as kids we blew a few up with fireworks but never a real naval battle

Beats shooting at a model of the USS New Jersey with a bb gun while it's floating in a cattle tank!
