his post was inspiring , i had to think a second about why , i recall posting photos the first time and not being happy with them ,

ive got some i didnt post - but kept just the same - heres one [take heart - they are dificult sometimes ] it was hard to get this , its an old [read very old] photo , and has not suffered time well , then i tried todigitise it with very little to work with ,

my great grandfather was stationmaster at the eurika springs , arkansas depot , this is what he looked like


while the photo is bad - i think the times come thru , i think he would have been an interesting fellow to know

im not sure it is true today , but in the 60s his picture hung in the depot

i was thinkin "COOL MUSTACHE" but then thats cause hard as i tried way back when i couldnt get to that look ,


i was always mustache challenged - but i was willing to learn
