I can't help but watch movies and find the error with the firearm scenes. Can you recognize this small photo and tell from what movie. See anything wrong?

Image

It's from the final duel scene of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. That's Angel Eyes, as he inches his hand toward the pistol. Too bad it's a percussion cap pistol, and he is got cartridges in his belt. The G-B-U had tons of errors.

In the original release of "Joe Kidd" one of the bad guys has a C96 broomhandle and proceeds to put two stripper clips of ten rounds in it. It is not one of the ones with the extended well or open bottom so it cannot hold twenty rounds. I think they have since corrected this.

In "Joe Kidd" I also remember the scene where Eastwood takes the C96 & fires about 15 or so rounds without reloading. Also when he had the takedown scoped rifle it is a Ross 1905 sporter & the movie takes place ca. 1901. Duvall has a custom engraved 1899 which is period correct but his optics definitely aren't

Oldernavy, it could have been Tuco, but I seem to remember Clint doing a similar thing. Now that you have refreshed my memory about Tuco in the gun shop, I am no longer sure of anything. I am SO confused! It is amazing that so many movies do have accurate depictions of firearms. It seems horrywood has a bigger love affair with shooting irons than even us.
