thank you , im so happy someone got to shoot that day in such fine weather , it wasnt that nice here - to say the least ,

you got to shoot some very interesting items there , ive never shot a crossbow - always thought it might be fun , renews my thought that perhaps i should before i cant , are they hard to reset ? how did you do ?

The crossbow was super fun . . . and it was real funny because at first I kept expecting some recoil (they have none) because I'd just been shooting the Mauser :lol

The guys had no problem resetting . . . but I admit I couldn't do it. For one, I didn't have the strength (pitiful I know) but I also didn't have the arm length to get good pulls on it.

OK , im ignorant here - do you pull it by hand ? or is there a lever device to charge one of those ?

i can undestand the lack of recoil - i was thinking that might be almost anti-climatic , but its neat to know that was your oppinion ,

i bet it was a real change from the mauser - that must kick a bit :D

How fun! I've never shot a crossbow and am afraid I'd end up hurting myself.

Lots of green in Georgia; where's the concrete?

You pulled the crossbow by hand . . . and yeah, it sure wasn't a rifle . . . but it was fun in its own right I'd say . . . nothing like shooting arrows into stuff :lol

Yeah, the Mauser kicks but it seems like nothing when I'm shooting . . . then I'll pick up the SKS & say where's the recoil :lol I have the tiniest little bruise from it this time, but I did shoot it more too . . . I love that gun

Concrete? I'm a country girl - I don't do concrete :lol The true big city is a long ways away :)
