i think i found one - not sure i want one , but its intrigueing ,
this fella we work with had seen some of my collection and knew id be one who appreciated this piece ,

its a old one , by the serial number its an 1892 vintage , from the photos the furniture is in excelent condition , and the metal finish is about poor + , nearly all the fimish is gone , perhaps 25% at best , but no rust or pitting what-so-ever , he is not much of a gun guy so i cant depend on him for the mechanical condition , will wait to see it in person , next week i think ,

good thing is these are real popular in cowboy action , bad thing is ive committed all my loose cash for the foreseeable future , i doubt he will be looking for any trades and im worried he will ask too much ,

if i can figure out how to get the photos uploaded to my photobucket account [have not done that in a while ] ill post them ,

any thoughts or recomendations ?

As in the other post.........jump on that one. Last time I say originals they were in the 4-6 Franklin range but that was way before the popularity with SASS

i can send photos if you want to consider it , i expect it in my office next week but hes comming up from iowa so the weather could alter that - we are abiout to get some nasty stuff followed by very cold [normal] stuff

The 1887 is very hard to master for SASS/CAS matches . The 97 or SS are lot easier to master for a match ..

i agree , i see other folks using the various pumps and admire their dexterity but i know they spent a lot of time practicing to get that proficient

im sticking with my sxs and looking to slick it up a bit to smooth out my shooting , not expecting to get great but would like to achieve good ;)
