One of my friends found this 1986 CVA kit at a yard sale for $30 and gave it to me. Unassembled but missing 6 small screws. Made do with other similar screws . Came out pretty decent and fires minute of saucer.It is a .45 caliber. I added some brass tacks to give it an Indian flavor

I like it!! Those have good barrels and will surprise you accuracy-wise. SW

me too - kick back and enjoy it - we aint getting no younger ,

i just broke down and bought a flintlock handgun because i have not found a reliable - trustworthy - craftsman to make me one , do not get me wrong here - i have one down south who made my rifle , he just is not doing so much these days , so i had to outsource this one ,

i did find a seamstress to make me other items ive been wanting -

made me a rain slicker and three shirts for my cowboy action shooting - working on suspenders with a holster for my S&W mod 1 deringer , got a possibles bag coming in confederate gray - not because it goes with my kentucky flintlock , but because her daughter was fond of that southern gray and coming from arkansas stock that fought for the south , i could not disagree - besides she has a great smile , i shall keep it for that civil war wall display if need be ,
i will find a leather one more closely suited at the renaissance festival or have one made ,
i bought one [on line] that turned out far to large for my purpose - intended for cap and ball sorts , i may get there yet as well as i have some of these in my enfield collection , we shall see as time goes by

That's a steal for $30


That's one thing I don't have, a front-stuffer pistol.

I always keep an eye out for a decent price on an underhammer though
