My wife bought a cattlemens carbine a few years ago and we shot it and found it's shoots extremely accurate with heeled bullets. That being said I was wondering if anybody else has one out here because although it is a beautiful gun and shoots great I always think that there is something wrong with it because when I look down the length of it you can see the frame is not straight, it curves to the right enough to make me believe it a defect. I haven't see another one to pickup and look at one. Can somebody put me in the right direction? Thank you . |

As a matter of curiosity do you get percussion cap particles in your mug when shooting? SW |

Oh boy do yah!! A Stinging forehead after each shot. All though in a prone position at about 35 yards I was so impressed how accurate it was using a heel bullet out of a Lee mold .450 -200 grn with 30grns of powder an a itching stinging forehead later it was fun to shoot. We also bought a conversion cylinder for it but it needs to experiment with different loads though. |

I've got a percussion rifle Kaintuck put together for me. The hammer surrounds the cap so no debris hits my mug, but I shot it while wearing a T-shirt & my arm looked like it had measles. Lesson learned - I only shoot it with a sweat shirt on now. SW |

I have a CVA Kentucky rifle I bought back in the early 90s, I don't recall having any problems with it. I had sighted in in at 100yds but now I probably couldn't hit very well now! It's a percussion shooter. |

The spiller and burr is a pistol right?what cal.? Caps have been the only thing I have been able to find this last year so I have only mostly shot blackpowder |
