Here's my lever guns Savage99 .308 win Winchester94 .30-30 Winchester9422 .22lr Daisy94 BB I haven't been able to figure out what year the savage was built, the 94 in .30-30 was made in 1976, no silly crossbolt safety |

Thanks ET, I found that site a few days ago, and when I put the number into the box, nothing happened. Now it works enough to tell me the number is invalid Maybe my rifle only exists in my mind?? |

Looking at Murray's book I think you have the model "E". The book states that they started offering the press chequered stocks in 1966 with patterns differing throughout the production run until 1984. |

thanks, that narrows it a little, the serial starts with a C, but it won't accept that, without the C it says 1910, that's a might early I think |

Does it have the round counter on the LH side? If so is it brass or steel? |
