The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Well I took the chance and bought it. I looked up the serial number and it puts the rifle at about 1897. It is in 38-55 caliber.THe gun functions perfect. Someone reblued it at some point and put finish on the stock.I might try to fix the stock finish at a later date.This is only the second lever action I have had, the first being a Marlin that I shot when I was kid. I got to boxes of black hills amo for this and now justneed to get out to the range,Here are some pics.
