Does anyone remember the conversion kit that Gun Parts used to sell to convert the Mod94 to 44 Mag? I bought one years ago from them and it was to include an instruction manual, but not to my surprise there was no instructions and GP said they had none (after I got the kit). My problem with the rifle is it will not load a round from the tube, the next one will not pop up. Any ideas out there? Thanks. |

Sounds like it needs a lifter. Since Wrenchester made a 44mag model 94, you might be able to score one & begin blasting away. SW |

You know it came with the lifter, If I remember right it does not want to move very well and I don't have an example to compare. |

How do you do that without changing the barrel? I had one Winchester in .44 mag made in 1976 several years ago, but sold it off because it wouldn't group. |

The kit included a new barrel along with some new internal parts. It was an easy conversion with the little issue of not feeding the next round. |
