a winchester mod 69 , no "A" , somewhat early one by the research ive done so far , prewar ,

its been D&T'd for the scope but i dont mind , i need them these days , i have a few bolt 22s , but this one is box mag , i have three , but think only two are Mod69s , not sure what the third is for yet , its marked winchester but the sides are different as can be seen ,







if anyone recognizes and could direct me to someone to trade bits with id appreciate it , i need the hood for my front site , and lord knows what else :>}

That mag looks the same except for the third groove. If it fits and works I would just use it.

nope - not since the thirtys

the mag is loose - need to try it first to know for sure , was told elsewhere that it was an aftermarket , they used the "W" to avoid trademark issues

yup - told these aftermarkets are very good ones in general , and well respected ,

ive narrowed the age to 1935-1937 - cant be earlier becase these fist came out in 03/35 [announced in jan 35] and cant be after because they changed the protruding knurled take down knob to a flush bolt in 10/37 and added the safety lever at the starboard-aft of the receiver in 12/37 ,

none of the mod 69s nor mod 69a were serial numbered , discontinued in 1963 ,
