1936 STEVENS Buckhorn .22 Rifle, these were the rifles with a black forearm tip, supposed to resemble the 'horn' mat'l on expensive rifles then. Strange, but true...Frank Buck was a hero guy that at the time people knew...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Buck_ZooHe was a 'great white hunter' and signed his name to sell the rifles....I had some of the adds with him and his pith helmet....
He later opened a zoo and became a animal protector I guess...........anyhow, the stevens with Buckhorn stamped on the underside of the barrels are collectors now....get 10-20% more $$$ for them...but they are the same manufactured barrels as the other stevens....
some goods....just placed in a 'mini-skirt' to sell them
kinda makes me think of Paris........but dosen't EVERYTHING?????
