I have a single shot .22 made by Rem; I think the model is 521 (I don't feel like going digging for it). I bought it in the early 1960s while I was in HS. It is in pretty good shape and still a fine shooter. It saw a lot of use - and still sees some on occasion - and killed more squirrels than I can count. You have to push the round into the chamber by hand as there is no loading ramp or trough. The safety is a knob at the back of the bolt that is turned to the left, IIRC, to put it on safety. What can the forum tell me about this rifle? Year of mfg, value, etc. Thanks. |

Sounds like an odly that I've got, although I thought mine was a Winnie, but it could be a rem. I would have to dig it out to see for sure |
