The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. This is a (partial) picture of my old Stevens Model 52, which was made in 1934. I have a Weaver K2 scope mickey-mounted on it with a cheap sheet metal Japanese scope mount/base. It works; I had to shoot a woodpecker with it the other day who kept crashing into one of our windows for several days running and wouldn't stop. I have had this rifle since 1965.

Poor woody, you could have opened the window! Nice little 22, must be accurate.

I believe I have one of its younger cousins. They are nice little 22s.
