and it never ends these days , i found a nice vintage browning buckmark , gotta research it a bit to date it , but it fits in well with the nomad , challenger and SA-22 ,

and then there is the marlin 39 i just picked up , still need to research this one too but think its 50s , it goes well with the '59 39A i already had and the palomino i found ,

i need a bigger cabinet ,

Browning bitemarks are good property, and you can't go wrong with an older Marlin!

I did have a 22 I despised... one of the Charter arms pistols based on the AR-7. Can't recall the model name, but it was pretty much worthless. SW

Well I like 22s also, but right now we are potentially up to our rear end in alligators depending on Irma's path so we will have to wait until later to appreciate the posts.

good luck old navy , we are prayin for all ya all , in that situation i too would be looking to hunker down out of the path if possible ,

the marlin turns out to be a 1952 , older than my other , this one has the pistol grip stock , my other has the straight stock , only reason i bought it really , i do like it , its in exceptional condition for being my younger brothers age - him not so much

Well,

Irma has come and gone. We were lucky compared to the folks in Florida. By the time Irma got to the Ga/Fl line it had become a tropical storm. We still had a lot of heavy rain and wind with high gusts. Currently there are over 10,000 households in our county without power. I just checked the outage map and 12 households had been restored to power. We learned from Matthew last year and have a new 3650 watt generator to suppliment the Horrible Freight two-cycle generators. It is now powering the two freezers and the fridge. Last year I had to keep switching out the appliances to keep things cold. I guess we need to get the T-shirt next.
