The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. Well I passed on the rifle my local gun shop had and went to another. Turns out someone informed me the walther was a different rifle. So I picked up this Mauser I found. It has all matching numbers, and the only problem with it is someone stored it bad and it has some rust on the butt plate. Anyone else have one , I would love to see some pics.

I have been looking at a lot of the trainer rifles. recently I saw a french lebel trainer, I had never seen one before, it looked like the early rifles square reciver almost like a browning bar. I can't get the gun shop to return emails or phone calls so it looks like that might be a wash. Aslo I have been checking out the polish .22 trainers that look like the nagant rifle. they are also single shot. price seems to be around $200-$350

ive on more than one occasion thought to sell off all off my large caliber rifles and go strictly to the trainers for my collection , i still may one day -i really like these
