never mind - im done with the fellow that set my freind up to this - used the two of us

Don't know much about the Remington. The sight is not correct for that rifle. There is no room for the elevator (which is why it isn't on there)
If you do get a proper sight, I would be interested in that buckhorn sight. Would go nice on on of my older Savages.

The Mountie was only made for a couple of years so it's value is higher than a regular 39a. Last time I checked they were valued at 350 or so in excellent condition.

these are for sale but im not sure where he is on them , i dont know that he does to be honest

i found the remington - its a model 12 and an older one at that , but i cant get a read on the value yet

For the Mountie, S = 1959. I'm not sure of the value. As shown, I wouldn't go a lot on it. SW

just so there is no missunderstyanding the brown is not all rust - mostly its brown dust from a deteriorating case , i didnt clean these [yet] and may not depending on if they sell ,

the guy sold the remington , im not sure which offer was accepted ,

don , hes holding the marlin for $750 - thinks we were holding him up - i told my freind ill not deal with that guys stuff any more , it may well be worth what he wants but i was being used as an advertiser and cleaning service - not really what i want to do ,
i think he is bluffing on the other offer and ive called him on it [put $250 cash in the freinds hand] and asked my freind to tell him its a standing offer for one month - if i end up with the rifle ill let you know

trust me ill not hold you to this - i would cover [already have] its just ridiculous to put something up for sale and not be honest, he got me on that S&W revolver [but that has a nice home] and i think he will get me on this, one way or another - im not real happy to say the least.

just so there is no misunderstanding, im really happy with how the S&W thing turned out - its with a good owner and a good friend, im very happy it went the way it did, and this will turn out OK too, no matter how it goes.
