Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

This is my ranger 101.10 It is the same as the savage 602 and stevens 872 "gill-gun" family of 87's. these are practically non-existant, as I have ben looking for 2 years exclusivly for one. I did pass up a 'dog' stevens 872 on gunbroker...and the bid topped at around $125~then add the shipping and fee's , it would of been $185!
The stock, barrel and mag tube are from a dealer in Florida that was getting outta business, so he sold all the excess parts....I happen to have a box of stuff for these rifles, collected over time. the interesting thing i found was that the reciever was driled differently than the other 87's i have. and the take-down screw was located 1/4" further forward, necessetating a fill/re-drill job to get my rifle to seat into the stock with the rec'ver and mateing parts.......i still need 2 extractor claws and springs....but they are in the mail~
i have shot it, and the barrel IS short chambered only~! i hope the twist is faster for the little dumppy bullets, so they will be accurate....the bolt, hammer assembly is lighter than the regular ones, and the recoil spring is clipped shorter....all to match the lower power from the shorts power...... 8-)

now if someone will point me toward a 87AB and 87AT please......they are the last two i need....... :P
