A couple Summers ago I went to a show with A square and I picked up a DPMS lower. The seller had both the 6 position collapsible and solid complete lowers. I went with the solid but have wanted a collapsible since. There was before everything went crazy. Anyway. At the show this weekend collapsible lowers were back down to their normal price, so I picked up a 6 position DPMS lower.

As we were walking through the show a guy had these, kind of a fussy picture.

And still another guy had these, dedicated .22LR upper.

Here is the bolt assy. The right side is the bolt and it slides in the assy as you shoot semi-auto. Purdy ingenious setup.

And with it all assembled. The best part is this is a regular DPMS lower so I can put any upper (.223) on it.

The thing is I wasn’t even looking for a new .22.

wow - thats nice , im with you on that buy , the dedicated uppers are more accurate - i think - than the 'conversion bolts' , but ..............

Sweet rifles A square.
I'm definitely coming back up there. I've been looking over the stash to see what I have to get into the .22 cowboy shoot if you decide to have one.
Do you think my Mossberg .22 lever hamerless would qualify?
