Am starting to clean up my old Mossberg 51M(a) that belonged to my dad. My wife moved it out to the barn before Christmas and by the time I found it the rust had started. Not real bad but worse than I've seen it in 60 years. Just used the gun oil and nickle coin method and it came out pretty good. Still needs work though. Will try Kroil next, will order it from Midway. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have always had success with copper wool ("Chore Boy" kitchen pan scrubbers) & G96 CLP. |
