We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

All I know is....
from serial #.. it is in the correct range to be a carbine..
The barrel is 22" long
front sight is a rifle sight
sling swivels were added by my uncle

shes a beauty , if correct i think the value is gone as a collector because of the reblue and such , but its a keeper as a fine example of an american rifle and for its family heritage ,

i do not know enough about krag carbines[i know all 1899s are carbines] to say much more , but the serial numbers say it all in these , and a huge number found their way to deer camp in one form or another , they are a fine rifle and im proud to have owned the four and to still own the two i have now

Very nice krag
Enjoy.
I have one that some nincapoop drilled and taped
For a scope.so now it won't be a collector.
So I am going to make it a modern military
Looking rifle. And get a hydro graphic. Military
Seen put on the stock.

if it was a carbine it will have a 'C' on the rear sight, and if it is a rifle it will have an 'R' on it hope this helps?
