Recently, the CMP has posted about 10 pages of surplus M1 Rifle parts that may be purchased through their e-store. It doesn't hurt to have a few spares if you shoot your rifle from time to time. The prices are generally lower than "market." Many years ago, before the DCM morphed into CMP, they had a similar program of selling M1 Rifle parts and 1903/03A3 stuff. It was all dirt cheap. |

i heard today that they will refurb GI rifles if sent in to them , is that true ? |
