Found a 1884 springfield trapdoor with the rod bayonet ,45-70,stacking swivel and sling swivel,correct rear sight marked with an R, good bore good stock not refinished, what is a realistic value for one of these, they seem all over the place from $660-$1000.

yup .....................meaning you are right in your range , i bought mine [it was an 1888 rod bayonet] for $750 and sold around $850 , it was in a complex trade , and yes - i know the sling is on wrong [came that way] but its a correct one :grin:
