My M1 hasn't been working for awhile. My op rod is out of spec. The piston is too small, and Im getting too much blow by to cycle the action. Im looking for a new op rod online but not sure which one to get. Its a Springfield, sn- 3181***, made in September or October 1944. Anybody know which one to get? THanks, Eli |

eli the sticky above has what you need -copied and pasted here - shows which parts are correct for the Garand. This would make a good sticky if I could figure out how to do it. http://battlerifle0.tripod.com/ |
