Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

the speculation of a longer bullet is what id read elsewhere , there are a bunch so cut so it was done in some second tier use - it did not leave the factory like that ,

these were a very poular rifle to rebore for other cartriges because the action was strong , but usualy as a sporter , that didnt happen while in canadian service eather , nor british ,

it looks to have been parkerised ? that would have been a refurb - didnt leave the factory with that finish , but it looks like it was refinished after that cut was made - due to the unifomity in that area
