The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Took the new RockRiver to the range to break her in, and get the scope and iron sights adjusted. It did pretty good with a wider range of bullet weights, but still shows a preference to the 63 grain semi-spitzers. I really hope group size will shrink to half this, once the barrel works in, and everything settles. GI ammo did OK, but threw a few more flyers here or there. This is supposed to be a 10 shot group on the right, I know it looks like more.

You are so right Asquare10, the next trip, hopefully Friday will be at 100 yds.
(Our 200 yd range closed until summer).

great , looking forward to the results , it looks like a great investment that is one tight shooting rifle , i think you made a great buy on that one , well worth the wait ,

is that a rock river upper and lower ? whoever put that one together got it right

Asquare, thats a complete factory rifle as received. I added 2 lbs of lead to thbuttstock, added the mount and scope. It's this one here...

i think they make cast lead weights for just this purpose , shaped to fill that buttrap storage compartment , but you may be gettin a better fill/fit with your pellet method ,
and it could serve as a sap in that pinch moment :grin:
