The 7.62 Nato would work nicely in an AR-10. Many years ago when I was a teenager, another young gun-nut acquaintance of mine had a home defense rifle similar to that. I think he invented the "accessory rail" concept. His "house gun" was an Argentine Model 1891 with a flash light taped onto the end of the barrel with electrician's tape (we didn't have duct tape yet in those days). I asked him what that was about, and he explained that sometimes he noticed "strange Nigerians" roaming around the place (a trailer park in North Long Beach, CA) and he wanted to be ready. I think I mentioned this guy before. He was a Samurai sword officiado and a very rare blade came his way. He traced it back to a wealthy family in Japan. After he contacted them about re-purchase, they wanted it back and invited him to bring it back to Japan in person, expenses paid, which he did. Upon his return from Japan, he was driving back from the LA airport and ran out of gas. It was foggy that night, and he was stuck and killed by a bus while crossing the street. |

If it is Aussie ammo then doesn't it have to fit in a gun with left spiral rifling and not right spiral rifling? |
