Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

while im certain to "collectors" that might be a factor just like the import markings , to me much of these details are far diminshed in terms of my acceptance - they represent part of the history of the rifles service ,

i subscribe to the idea if you like it - its desireable , id have a lot of dificulty with sported rifles if i didnt feel this way

I think you guys are right. I bought these guns to shoot. If they are good shooters, then who cares if the bores were counterbored. I wanted Winchester and Remington 1917's to go with my Eddystone and got them for decent, not super, prices.

Both of the guns have import marks, so I guess they found their way out of the country and then back in. Not sure where they have been, but would like to find out.
