Went to a gun show over the weekend and was looking at nagants. The dealers are crazy, the y wanted $225 for hex receiver early date import marked rifles. I am in the north east, is it that bad other places? If anyone knows of some gun shops with online inventory I should check out let me know.

Prices are going up Subhunter. Import is slowing down. As for where to find them Ask ET He has a shop, and some nice stuff. Go go to J&G He may still have them cheap. Check out Aim, Empire( he isn't cheap, but his stuff is good) Allans Armory. good luck

coulda woulda shoulda We humans are a foibled lot It seems there is an abundance of hindsight and not enough forsight. I'm no exception I got into this late and far too late to get that M1 garand when I should have gotten it. Soooo I content myself with what I have, and what I can afford.
Perhaps somewhere down the line I'll get rich, or lucky. Until then there are Mosins,Enfields, Mausers. Suffice to say that what we have has atleast an
appreciable historical significance. They were there, were they not? Realistically was that Garand actually there? Maybe, and then again maybe not. That Mosin, that Enfield, that Mauser, they were there. They saw it happen. From time to time I get on the trade kick, but really that old M1917 of mine is real history. There are those of you who swear a spit by the M1903 Why? because it was made by George Springfield. Guess what the M1917 is also American made They were made by Remington,Eddystone, and Winchester. Well enough for now Love that old Mosin she is one heck of a great rifle

I don't know. I glommed 10 of them in about a year before you know who got elected and sent prices skyrocketing.

Still want a non-bubba'ed Remington. Got the New England Westinghouse.
