Got PU?

If you do, do you think its a good solid rig?
Can they take abuse, and keep a zero?
Are they hard to sight in?
Do you think the "Century" ones Classic arms are selling are a good shooting combo? I think Centurey has put them together, or are they what are comming outta the Ukraine?

They seem to be in Budget range, and I want another Mosin to play with (Who dosent??!!), and since Im a one gun with a scope on it kina guy, Mosin seems like the Rifle for me :D

Just wondering if the PU's are a step up, or maby I'll get another M-39...Im looking for a workhorse.

Thanx!

I have two original ones with the electric penciled scope mounts. They shoot great. But I do think an m/39 with a scout mount scope will help you drill the big game up there just as well.

Here's mine. It's a Fin with the potbelly stock put together by Century a few years ago.

I've never knocked it around but it looks heavy duty. I don't think it would loose zero easily.
As far as sighting in it's just like any other scope, turn the dials until it hits where you want. Unlike a other scopes the post will not be centered once it's sighted. To get it centered you will need to either grind or add shims to the mount.
I wouldn't hesitate to get one from Century. The one I have is well put together.

Great looking rifle you got there Swede.
I got a 1944 M91/30 PU too, but it's in my collection so I'm not allowed to shoot it.
The glass is post war and looks a bit too new on the 1944 rifle.
The quality is very good though.

Here are some pictures.

Ahhhhhh, #3 please!

Century arms was it?
"Fake" is maby better, as Im gonna put it to work. I want something that works, period. Ive entertained thoughts of one of the types M-39 witha 6 power moder scope, like on PSL's Romainia makes, and put the bullet on the target, far ,far away...... ;)

Thanx for the Heads up!

Nice rifles. Too bad we aren't a little closer to each other, we could have a sniper shoot, that is for those of us that would be able to shoot them.
