Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

This is a re-snipered 1939 Tula 91/30. It came with a reproduction PE mount w/reproduction scope. The stock was butchered up pretty badly and the bolt was an even bigger mess. Someone had gone to the trouble of stamping obviously new matching numbers on the buttplate, floor pan, and bolt. I figured maybe it had been through Mitchell's Mausers at some time but even they wouldn't have screwed the bolt up that badly! I called upon the "Boltman" to transform a Tula bolt that I purchased on Ebay and I found a good Tula marked stock as well as other parts on the "bay". Now the rifle is all Tula. I had an original PEM mount and 1940 scope w/original leather covers to put on it. It isn't import marked anywhere and nothing is ground off as well. So it is an original receiver with original scope and mount and all Tula marked parts.

This target was shot at 100 yds. with the reproduction scope. The high round was the first "cold" shot.

Looks cool. Timney sells a great trigger for those, might get the group even tighter!
