i really like the westinghouse name on it - it recalls a time when the manufacture of weapons was not frowned upon

Great looking rifle, with an even greater history attached to it.
I'd love to have an American Mosin Nagant in my collection, especially in cal. 30-06.

Wasn't it Bannerman (Bannerman's Island NY) who sold nagants converted to 30-06? I think they were considered dangerous to shoot because of the poor quality of the conversions not because of the nagant action. (According to P.O. Ackley)

that seems a lot yet i know in the big picture that is a very rare rifle , particularly if you consider attrition , i hope you and your rifle find each other martin ,
