i really like the westinghouse name on it - it recalls a time when the manufacture of weapons was not frowned upon |

Great looking rifle, with an even greater history attached to it. I'd love to have an American Mosin Nagant in my collection, especially in cal. 30-06. ...oh yeah...Pete, I see that we have at least one thing in common. A huge everlasting gap in our safe. Met vriendelijke groet, Martin |

Wasn't it Bannerman (Bannerman's Island NY) who sold nagants converted to 30-06? I think they were considered dangerous to shoot because of the poor quality of the conversions not because of the nagant action. (According to P.O. Ackley) |

That's correct oldernavy. Here's a link to another site with some more info on these conversions. I hope you don't mind Don. Met vriendelijke groet, Martin |

Thanks Don. I think the same way about this. BTW, I think we can stand any form of competition, because the way this site works is (in one word) UNIQUE. That's how I feel about it. Met vriendelijke groet, Martin |

Never saw one with my own eyes, but I know that there is one with my name on it somewhere on this planet. I only have to find it. Or......will it find me????????? Met vriendelijke groet, Martin |
