Just a photo of my Russian pile. There was a time when you could find 91/30's matching with matching bayonets, so I bought a few for the heck of it.

Yes that is an original bayonet. I bought it along time ago when they were cheaper then now from ebay. The SVT40 bayonets seem to be in the same group as the Carcano M38 folding bayonets EXPENSIVE! There are a lot out there but the prices are crazy high.

You know with Putin not being a nice guy these days we may get a visit from the feds wanting to know the truth about this strange group of folks here

nice group! where'd you find the m38 carbine with the PU scope? never saw one of those.
nice naval infantry svt, too. i picked one of those up cause i had a sling it'd fit on. the bayonets are probably even more expensive than the carcano folders, too. i've only got one svt bayo, and have to share it between 5 of em.

The 38 is actually a 1943 Izhevsk M91/59. I found it one day in a store that was parting out a collection who's owner had passed away. It is my guess that this rifle may have been a sniper at one time due to the second serial number (same as the 9130 sniper I have) and someone put the scope back on it or ?? The dealer wanted 300.00 for the whole rifle and I figured that the scope set was worth close to that!
