So what are they "really" worth?

So do you think the SOG Sakos are too much? I've not priced them before, and really never knew what they were worth but had been eyeing one.

That's a hard question to answer. I paid $140 for a Sako and $200 for a B barrel a couple years ago. I like these rifles and SOG has them on sale but I don't know if I would pay $300 for one. (then again my brothers do call me the cheap one) I guess it depends on how much you want one.

Oh what the heck, I'd get one, they aren't going to get much cheaper. And once they're gone it'll be like the 96 Swedes.

I've been wanting a Finned M91 for the collection for awhile now, but I have a hard time paying the asking price people seem to be after (for the most part) It's more than what people were paying for the M39's back when they were in their hayday and M91's seemed to be in the $100 range. Guess I shoulda bought one then.

So many times i have seen things for sale from SOG,Century, or J&G and thought, they were a little high and I would wait a bit longer or wait for a sale. The CZ 52 is a perfect example, I kept waiting for them to goo down to $89 and now you can't get them for less then $125. The importers set the prices, I think if you see something you like then grab it cause the prices rarley go down unless some large hidden catch was discovered and imported. Plus who knows whats going to happen come November!

Feel free to get one just make sure you don't buy it at dealer prices. Find one at a gun show or else where.
