crap! I guess that m28 that sold on auction arms yesterday for 350 wasn't the one you were talking about then. I thought hard about bidding on it, but didn't want to step on your toes. Oh well, SOMEbody got a nice looking m28 fairly cheap! y'all have a good day, Keith

They use a school for the gun show?? Now here in ol CA our schools are gun free zones!! Yeah right.

I haven't been there yet, a guy at work was telling me about it. It's not a big town, so it's a way for the school to make money, I guess.

I'm not sure if it was this school or another here in MN, but a family from columbine CO mopved here after the shootings, and when they found out about the gun show, tried to get it shut down. Needless to say, it still goes on

Im thinking about going to the gunshow at the St.Paul Armory coming up in March... I hear it is supposed to be a good one.

I chickened out, the price was at 466 and the reserve hadn't been met yet. I know the M28 isn't as cheap as a 91/30, but I just can't see spending that much money when all the others are so affordable.

Plus I like to touch 'em if I'm going to spend that kind of money, so 3 gunshows in 2 weekends, maybe I can find something closer to home.

patience rules! I didn't think i'd ever find a 28/30. waited for several years, cause i wasn't going to pay the big prices i saw on them. then i lucked into one at dixie gunworks in tennessee for 147 bucks out the door.

being patient isn't one of my favorite hobbies, but it can sometimes pay off.

If you look hard enough you will find one at a resonable price. Don't pay the internet prices unless you have to have one and you have a lot of money to spare.
