Never let it be said that you can't find any good deals at Cabela's on milsurps. Especially if they mis-identify their own merchandise.

On a recent trip through Nevada, stopped at the Reno's Cabela's and found this Finnish Model 27. It bore a tag that identified it as a Mosin Nagant 1891 and a price of 159.99. Tikka, dated 1934









Also happened to get a GEW 88 on this trip at a different gunshop that the owner swore was a "Carcano".

As a fellow CA resident did they let you take them home or insist they needed to be shipped to an 01? I know some folks who went there and that was the rule they were told for us CA folks!

I always take a copy of my C&R with me when I go out of state. Used it at Cabela's and they were happy to take it.
