Yesterday's Weapons Forums

I stop into a gun shop on my way back from a job, and I was poking around. The guy had a lot of great stuff, mas 36's, long and short Lebel M16, A hakim, some mausers. and a bunch of Mosins. But I noticed this one was taller than the rest. He had just purchased a collection and did not price it yet. I was buying a VZ 24 Mauser from him. I asked if he had any idea what he was going to ask for the Mosin and he threw a number out and said come back in a couple of days and he would have it priced. I was able to convince him to part with it on the spot. So I came home with two rifles that I had not planed to buy. so Here is one.

nice. 1923 tula RSFSR(PCOCP) m91. one of the gaps in my collection. 1918-1923 made m91's just seem to elude me. that's a fairly hard to find piece there. congrats, Keith

Just about every one of my Mosins was an impulse buy. The only one that wasn't was my M39. I was pricing them a long time, then somebody on another board decided to sell his. Got it for $230 shipped, and it was PRISTINE!

Every one but one of my 10 Mosin Nagants has been an impulse buy. I never started out specifically looking for one except my second, an M44.
