not great at picture taking, but i'm trying to practice. these rifles went to the tennessee/georgia shooters board get together in cisco, GA yesterday and I thought I'd snap some pic's before they went back in the vault.

1927 dated m27 with strange screwed on cap at the front band. m27 s/n started at 20,000.

early SIG unstepped barrel m24 with NSD markings. does anyone recognize the crown stamp on the top barrel flat? (last pic)

39 m27, 34 28/30, and 1970 m39. found the 28/30 at dixie gunworks, of all places.

seems all the m28 pics didn't upload. it's "double matching, the s/n was stamped on the bolt rib and the bolt knob. maybe they just wanted to be double sure?

....wow :-o ...excellent collection of rifles I've never had the pleasure of holding in person anywhere,and what a great chunk of history there too.... :bigrin:

do not short change your photos - they conveyed the data very well , im no photographer - id like to take better photos , but i think it comes with time and takes time & thought
